If musicians and stars want to mention it at every awards show this season they ought to donate more than just $1,000,000 of their own money. I think artists should mention it in their acceptance speech, if they are so inclined. We are a nation with acute short term memory and horrid long term memory. Haiti, like so many other places, will continue to suffer long after we as a collective have moved on to whether Christina Aguilera should or should not have worn whatever she's wearing. Artists have a platform. They should use it, if for no other reason than to remind folks that Haiti is still there.
