So I missed a couple days of blogging due to the holiday madness, but I have a little bit of time now so I plan to catch up.
Best Blog Find of 2009
My favorite blog finds this year was first Mrs. Gwen Bell’s who has encouraged me to be part of the 2009 Best of Blog Challenge. I have learned a lot from Gwen and I was really excited to be able to hear her speak at HIMA Interactive Strategies conference in Houston this past year.
On her blog, Gwen provides wonderful incites to social media and life on a weekly basis, plus I love hearing about all her amazing trips! Gwen, thanks for writing such a great blog and inspiring me to do more for myself.
My 2009 Moment of Peace
Wow…this is a hard one. I can not pinpoint one specific moment, but there are two things that have put me at great peace in 2009.

The first one is sitting in my parents backyard watching all the humming birds early in the morning. It is one of the most peaceful and tranquil settings you will ever experience. My parents have a lovely backyard filled with palm trees, banana plants and a rockery display. As you sit and watch the world go by, the faint trickling of water is able to be heard from the yard fountain. It’s just heaven. Several times this year when I have struggled with some life decisions or found myself having a tough time I would retire to this place at my parents house for some peace and quiet.
The other place I find the most peace is on the yoga mat. I will admit that I have fallen off the yoga wagon a bit, but at the beginning of this year I was going 2 times a week sometimes 3. It is something about stepping on that mat that makes all my anxiety melt away onto the floor. What a brilliant feeling. It was not until this year, when practicing yoga, did I find out how powerful the mind and body are and what effect they have on your outlook of life and the world. I love my yoga mat for that.

The author of http://www.coffeeandbluejeans.com has written an excellent article. You have made your point and there is not much to argue about. It is like the following universal truth that you can not argue with: Mementos, sooner or later, make us feel old. Thanks for the info.
